As I promised last month, I would share some photos from the Pryor Patchers' Show last June. I don't have a whole lot, just a couple, as I was hurrying around and spent my time gawking, instead of photographing. I also lost my notes on the information for these photos, so I must apologize for not remembering who the talented quiltmakers were. If any of those quiltmakers reads this, please email me and I will insert your information gladly.
This quilt in the next photo astonished me! Jane Anderson (I believe) from NW Oklahoma made this work of art. The handwork is exquisite and the best I've seen in a long, long time. The little flower clusters in the white spaces were actually appliqued and trapunto. Every point was perfect. All the stippling was done by hand also. It must have taken a large portion of her life to complete this work. What I totally don't understand is why on earth this quilt did not receive any ribbons! Only thing I could figure out is it must have arrived too late.
I think I had seen this next quilt before somewhere, but can't remember where. Very nice applique work.
There were a LOT more quilts, of course. Thanks to the Pryor Patchers group in Pryor, Oklahoma. And also thanks to Sisters In Stitches quilt shops.
Triplets!!!
I mentioned that I have been working on some baby quilts for some newborn triplets. Well, I finally finished the tops, and I'm doing the machine quilting this week and hope to finish them by this weekend. They are for the triplets of Todd & Michelle Miller, Arkansas. Two girls and one boy. And, of course, what quicker pattern than the Baby Nickels? So this would be Baby Nickels #10, 11, & 12!!!

What Am I Working On?
I still haven't started on the mourning quilt for my mother-in-law. I've been working some on the hand quilting on Bob's quilt in the floor hoop. Progressing nicely. Finished the Twisted Mystery Quilt and sent it off. But I can't show a picture since the recipient hasn't seen it yet!! Still have the appliquéd star cluster quilt for myself, and the butterfly block collection to assemble for a client, and another wall hanging on the design wall now for a client. Finished making some batik blocks to make for the latest forum scramble. And the peacock quilt still remains in the hand quilting frame.
