OK!!!! I told you I'd probably be late posting this month too. I was right!
I've been "shop hopping" in Kansas today. I very nice lady allowed me to tag along with her to McPherson, Kansas, and back to Tulsa.
We made a couple of stops--one in Newton and one in Wichita.
FIRST STOP: The Button Hole, LC, 101 North Main, McPherson, Kansas.
Man! oh Man! It was overwhelming. They say this is the 4th largest quilt shop in the US. Well, it's the biggest this gal has ever seen for sure. But a very pleasant experience. They have everything a quilter could possibly want and then some.

SECOND STOP: Charlotte's Sew Natural, 710 N. Main St., Newton, Kansas
This was my favorite place of the day. So comfortable to browse in. Not too big, not too small. Friendly staff. If I were going to put together fabric for an entire quilt, I would enjoy doing it here. They have great taste in fabric selection and a good variety of notions too. I actually bought something here! Trying out a new thimble (has a rubber-type covering that is suppose to help pull/grip your needle when hand quilting or sewing). I'll let you know how well it works later.

THIRD STOP: Henfeathers Quilt Shop, 150 N. Rock Rd., Wichita, Kansas
So well organized! Well staffed. We visited with Peggy there. Such a nice lady! They sure have a lot of kits and classes and things going on there. Highly recommend it.
