HOW NICE OF THEM!!  A big thank you and curtsy to Myrna Giesbrecht!!

My son asked me how much I had to pay them for that.  Shoot, I didn't even know about it until someone mentioned it.  I am honored.  So, now I'm famous.  When do I get rich?

Isn't this Nice???

Diana's #3
Diana Sheldon's Nine Patch Wonder --Recipe #3

Doesn't she do a great job?  Diana lives in Michigan.  Now and then she does some pattern testing for me.  This is her Nine Patch Wonder quilt top that I had her do.  She gets to keep it.  DARN!!  I have this on the gallery page, but wanted to post it here.  This is this month's Recipe #3 on my Free Blocks of the Month page.  These are so easy and quick to piece.  Hope you all are enjoying them.  Here's another of Diana's tops she has made testing for me:

Site seeing, anyone?

http://www.roserushbrooke.com/index.html  Rose Rushbrooke, art quilts.  Do you know what a fractal is?  I knew it was just a matter of time before someone used these mathematical wonders as quilt designs.  And sure enough, here she is.  Beautiful eye candy.

http://understudie.com/quiz/vegetable/   Ok, these game sites are beginning to get a little silly!  What vegetable are you?  I'm a broccoli, have to learn to love me!

Notice:

I'M Still ON VACATION!!!
We will NOT start NEW projects
for the months of July & August.
I'll Be Back September 1 with a super
new project for you all.
Of course, there will be July & August updates.
This will give you time to "catch up" on free BOM's!

What's New?

Well, not much!  Since I'm on vacation, and Granny is too, then we haven't added much of anything---YET.  But this is a "working" vacation, mind you.  I just got my new EQ5, and I'm very busy working with it and learning all over again how to design quilts :-).  Boy, they made some nice changes to EQ.  Now they have several layout templates for you to design with.  And they have added choices of strip quilts, one piece template quilts, layouts by bed size, many, many new blocks in the library.  It took me a while to figure out how to transfer all my blocks I had designed in EQ4 to the EQ5 block library.  It took a little help from my husband, but we got that accomplished.  And they have added rotary cutting instructions on some of the blocks.  All in all, it's still the best quilting design software around.

Well,---this is a little short, but I've gotta get back to work on my vacation!!

May you always have a quilt in the hoop, I try to.

Cya,
