One person shared a good tip: Form the cat's body from different color pieces using crazy-foundation piecing. That way, you can have a really "patchy" calico cat!

News:
After a lot of thinking on my part (ouch!), I have decided to offer one project for the coming year on the free page. This will allow me enough time to complete some projects that require extensive work. I have been trying, for example, to complete a hand-quilted project that has been on the frame since a year ago. (It's only about 1/3 complete!) I also have several time-consuming design opportunities coming up. If I could clone myself, or if I had 7 hands, or if there were 48 hours in a day, things would be different! I hope this will not discourage any of you from visiting this site. I promise to have a really nice project on the free page to make it worth your while to stop in each month as usual. Who knows maybe in 2006 we'll be able to get back to a new project every month or so. Thanks for your continuing patronage!
