Ok, gang, got a cup of coffee ready? Hope these JPEG's didn't take too long for you to download. I'll try to provide a picture and description of each quilt, approximate date and pertinent and "unpertinent" info with each. Also, let me remind you that all my stuff is copyrighted and I can get really cranky if I find anyone selling or misusing my designs (and so can my attorney). |

#94. More 4-patch Frenzies! November, 2007 - This one is Blake's (my oldest DGS). He picked out the fabrics for his and Devon's. Very interesting color schemes! (sorry, no pattern). I added an inner and outer border on these. The central blocks are the large size, and the inner borders are the smaller blocks. Then the outer border is the fabric itself, uncut. I wish you could've seen them in person. They were awesome! Blake has a very unique taste and he even has taken up hand piecing quilts at the age of 12. On his last visit, I supplied him well with needles and a needle threader. :-) First, the fabric he chose, a close up of the blocks, and then the finished product.
#95. Devon's 4-Patch Frenzy - November, 2007 - This fabric was picked out for Devon by Blake (Devon is Blake's younger brother). Same size, and layout, just a different color scheme--red instead of blue. I could make these all day for the rest of my life they were so much fun. Same thing here--first the fabric, then a block close-up, and then the finished quilt. Le Ann weaver did all the machine quilting on all the 4-patch frenzy quilts.
#96. Baby Nickels 1 & 2 - January, 2008 - This is one of the quilts in our book, "Loose Change". It was the first pattern of the book that was submitted to the publisher--our first deadline. :-) There are actually 2 of the same quilt. The first was sent in, but it was decided to remake it in a more scrappier way. It is a very simple quilt and can be done in a weekend start to finish if you opt out of the appliqué and scalloped border. All from nickel (5") squares. Le Ann Weaver did the machine quilting on both quilts. I can't seem to find the picture of the first one finished. Le Ann did an excellent job on the quilting on it.
#97. Nickel Cobblestone - Spring, 2008 - This is also from our book, Loose Change. The tulips are hand appliqued. Every block was made from nickel squares. A study of values. Light and dark. This helped reduce my stack of nickel charm squares substantially....so I could buy more!
#98. Claire's Asters - Spring, 2008 - Another from our Loose Change book. Le Ann Weaver's design. She also did the machine appliquéd borders. Love the pieced borders from fat quarters. Claire is a character (heroine) from a historical fiction series called the Outlander, by Diana Gabaldon.
#99. Jamie's Quilt - Spring, 2008 - Another from Loose Change. Jamie is the main character (hero) in the Outlander book series. This design is by Le Ann. Heaven knows I wouldn't use that many hst's! (just kidding). It has a very unique block and is well worth the HST's.
These are just some of many, of course. We will be adding more as time goes by, so check back often. Visit the many gallery archives below. Thanks for your time!!
